How remembrance day affected me.

Strangely enough, remembrance day did not affect me hugely. It did remind me to respect the soldiers in current and past wars. I was grossed out by the story about the rats. Also I did feel sad by all the killing done. Those are the small things that affected me during the remembrance day assembly.

One thing that especially reminded me to respect the soldiers was the music video that was shown. I couldn't help but feel annoyed at the man who was going about as normal, and how the cashier felt embarressed because he was trying to get his stuff payed for. It was a very nice touch when the music video added the old men who fought the war, walking through the store in their uniforms, and the man finally noticing them.It had a nice feeling, when the man finally stopped and stood during the end of the video, and the soldiers fading out. Over all, i'm pretty sure it made most of the people in the assembly respect the soldiers a bit more.

Another thing i heard at the assembly was the story about the rats. It actually made me shiver. First, the fact that soldiers learned to sleep with their mouth closed so rats didn't crawl in is nasty. But the second story, where a man thought his friend was alive because he moved, went to check him, and a ton of rats crawled out of his corpse, is even worse. I'm sure there are many more disgusting story's about the war that i have not heard yet.

The main reason people do not like wars is the killing done. This always makes someone a little sad, how so many men died. An unbelievable amount, and it hurts more that they were killed by othere soldiers in the same position as them, supporting their country. It sucks how even innocent villagers, who weren't even soldiers were killed as well. Wars are never a good thing, even if they are sometimes necessary.

My most terrifying experience on Hallowe'en

I don't really have any terrifying experiences relating with hallowe'en. There hasn't really been any danger or scary happenings. So i will just have to talk about a simple mistake.

First of all, I was trick or treating as usual. I made my way across a long street, crossing back and forth to get to all the houses. One thing to mention was the fact that the houses all looked the same. I made my way across the street, got the house there, then recrossed the street and proceded to the direction i thought went forward. I reached a house, rang the bell, and mentioned trick or treat. The man there looked at me, comfused. "What are you doing here? You just came by!" While that also surprised me, it also was extremely embarrasing. I walked out to the street. But I didn't know which way was forward. I ended up having to call my mother and ask her to come by and tell me which way I came from.

What do I think about dreamweaver

I don't really like dreamweaver much, because it is confusing and frustrating at times. But it is a capable program, and might be good if i knew more about it and was actually interested in using it. A thing i've learnt about dreamweaver is how to make a phrase or word into a link. It turns out you just select the words, then right click and find make a link, then type in the url. Another thing I've learnt is to make hotspots, as in, areas that you can click to take you to another link. You can do that by selecting an image mapping tool and forming an area of choice into a hotspot, adding alternative text and entering the link. The last thing i will mention that i have learnt is how to make an index webpage. You have to right click under the area where files are stored abd select new file. Then you have to name it index.html, and on you go! There are other things to learn in dreamweaver, but those are three things I'VE learnt.

My first day of computer tech class

I was very confused because I missed the first day i was supposed to be here. I am interested in learning how to make websites. I also hope we learn how to animate, since I already know a bit about that, but would like to learn more about animating on a proper animating program.
